In America, we have front porches, side porches, back porches, entry porches, screened porches, three season porches, four season...

The much missed parlor.
The much missed parlor. The Lakes Region of NH Real Estate Market Report - Nov. 1, 2015
My first recollection of the parlor (or palour, if you like a French flair) was likely on the Beverly Hillbillies TV show. Old Jeb moved from Bug Tussle to Beverly with Grannie, Jethro, and Ellie May to a 32-room, 14-bath, 21,523 square foot magnificent mansion...

There were a couple of condo sales in both Colonial Hills and The Hamptons in September along with a single family home in Long Bay.
Both units in the Hamptons were nicely updated. The home at 7 Lantern has 1,938 square feet and sold for $309,500 after just 20 days on the market. The home at 11 Lantern has 1,663 square feet and brought $307,000 after 80 days on the market. Both units sold considerably above...

How to sell your home in 2015.
I don’t think I have to venture too far out on a limb to make this New Year’s prediction: Trying to sell your home in 2015 will pretty much be the same as selling in 2014. And that isn’t necessarily easy, at least in the Lakes Region of NH. While other areas of the country and even this State are booming and properties are selling quickly with multiple offers, that is just not...
