We lunched at The Breeze today, walked down to the docks after. Was beautiful out, sunny and warm. Looking out I couldn't lose the feeling that something was missing at the dock ... something there most of the year .... can't quite think of what it might be .... :)

You're right....sure seems empty without the fireboat there! [emoji16]. Hopefully, you won't see as much of the C-Nile there this year. I really want to cut my commuting work days to 3, and just drive tiki boats on my non commuting days. Then again, I'll have to leave it at Glendale when I drive to Laconia, so maybe it'll be there everyday after all. Island logistics can be a bitch sometimes!

If it stayed in my driveway, I probably would! My island neighbors also have a Gilford mainland home and graciously allow me to store it there for the winter ( in exchange for putting up with their nonsense all summer?? I have never gotten that message and I have read all 658 messages. I do have the old thread message at the top of course.

I'd wager that many of us on this site are one of "those guys"!

If I'm at the lake, I'm guilty of that. It's kinda like putting your dog in a crate...over time, it becomes a safe, secure place for them. They learn to enjoy their " quiet time". [emoji16]

I'm leaving for South Carolina on Friday and didn't want to leave the boat at Glendale for 2 weeks, so when I came in this afternoon, I dropped it at Mt.View. Because it's early in the season and with only the vehicle I drove up in, I had to walk from the yacht club to Glendale in today's mess. I don't mind the exercise, but I don't think Holly is too happy looking like a wet seal.
