Did you get an invite, or just show up?

It is kind of a neat place. The previous owner was a friend so I went to a cookout there. Some unique features for sure and a nice area of sandy beach. The biggest downside in my opinion is the holding tank. But, owning your own island is kind of cool!

I did a boating instruction there with the new owners...they were extremely nice, and gave me a tour ...place is fantastic!

All in all, it's been a pretty amazing summer for me. Despite all the rainy weather, I've actually made my dream come true... working on the lake! Some days have been long, but never lacking amazing views. I've met and interacted with so many nice, friendly people along the way that I've almost forgotten how stressful the auto service business actually was. As my season is winding down, the harsh reality is setting in... I have to go back to a " real job" for a little while anyway, and I'm dreading the thought of throwing myself back in the fire. I guess it will make me appreciate next summer even more, and how beautiful this area really is!! Someday...." Sigh"...[emoji16]

There really are a ton of truly nice, pleasant people in this world. Sometimes when you run into some that aren't so nice it can be easy to forget, but they are all around us.

Unfortunately yes, but will be a full time situation til next spring anyway.

I think that is an R35 Cobalt. The list price is in the neighborhood of $800,000. Nice neighborhood!
