Help/recommendations needed for surveyor?

Hi Everyone,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place!
I posted on another forum (forestryforum.com) about getting some land surveyed in Alton. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with a local land surveyor and if you would recommend them?

My grandfather has some land in alton that needs to be surveyed and I'm pretty clueless as to the process of it. I did find a listing of surveyors online but hoping someone could recommend (or steer me clear) of good (or bad) experiences?

We want to build sort of a 'family cabin' in the woods that we can all use for when we go up the area for vacations and visiting my grandfather. Our family is starting to get too big for gramps little house:D

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I wasn't sure where to put it.

I will send you a PM, I am a licensed land surveyor in NH.
If I can't help you, I will put in contact with another surveyor from NH who can.

DMC Surveyors

Dean Clark @ DMC surveyors has done quite a bit of survey work for me. Excellent service, good rates. My house is in Alton and they are now located in Glendale. Tel. 524-7655

:DGreat thanks for some recommendations. I am also trying to find a licensed forester to help me and I know sometimes the forester's are also surveyors, so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone here :D

I really appreciate any recommendations because I hate just looking through the yellow pages and taking a stab in the dark at a random name, so it really helps when people are willing to give good or bad past experiences in similar situations.

Good Luck.

Does Tom do land surveying or just engineering work such as septic systems and a like?? I have always used Turning Point Land surveyors out of Laconia. Some feel he is a little expensive, but I have found Bryan to do excellent work without errors and fast.http://i28.tinypic.com/o9n8co.jpg
