Is there any Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale in the area?
 

Does anyone know where in the Lakes Region I can purchase Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale? I'm looking for both on tap, and by the 12 pack.

12 packs can be found at Fiddleheads on Main St. in Alton.:)

TBones has it on tap...and, if you ask, will rim the glass with cinnamon and sugar...very tasty.
Also saw a couple of people ordering it like that, and having a shot of Stoli Vanilla floated on top. Seemed a little much, but they seemed to really like it.

Too stickey
 

I have some Pumpkinhead in the fridge right now....good stuff! We stopped at a restaurant in Epping the other night and I had a draft with the brown sugar and cinnamon. It was nice but it only took a few minutes for it to start running down the side of the glass. Too stickey! So I asked for another glass and enjoyed what was left straight. I think I got my bottles at Hannaford.

As an alternative, try Gritty McDuff's Halloween Ale.

Saw it at Hannafords in Bedford 2 days ago so I would imagine most of them carry it.

Never mind Shipyard's Pumpkinhead Ale... you gotta try Dogfish Head Punkin Ale (and yes, I've spelled it correctly...) It seriously rocks! Excellent beer!
