New Year's Eve

Are there any restaurants around the lake doing anything special for New Year's Eve? Thanks!

The Wolfeboro Inn is hosting a Masquerade Ball for New Year's Eve! There will be a DJ, Dancing, hors d'oeurvres, and a champagne toast at midnight. The fun all starts at 8:00pm and goes until 1:00.

I wish I could do something like this as it is close by, but it seems as if (and please correct me if I am wrong) the "crowd" that is drawn by Wolfeboro Inn DJ events are what I will call "the younger set", or in any case somewhere around mid thirties and younger. I LIKE being with younger people, but not when it is ALL younger people and then ME.
Does anyone have any other experience with a Wolfeboro Inn DJ/dance party?

New Year's Eve at Tavern 27

Tavern 27 is having a early dinner seating then late night party.

We will have our regular dinner menu available until 8pm.

Then at 9pm we will open for our first New Year's Eve Party-featuring live music, tapas treats, a champagne toast and fireworks!!

Call for reservations for either seating!! It is going to be a blast!!

Boss Man Band will be playing at the Black Cat in Laconia from 9p-12a. If you like blues, classic rock, southern rock, oldies, etc., then you'll like this band - they have an unusual arrangement of guitar, sax, bass, drums, and vocals - nice sound, in my opinion. I heard them for the first time last weekend at the VFW in Laconia; Argie is their guitar player. :)

Wife says I'm getting really good at pyrotechnics. I thought the show was good but I missed it with my finally. Can't wait until the 4th of July to do it again.
