Weirs Beach Lobster Pound - Chili Cook Off!

This Sunday Jan 30th the Weirs Beach LB is hosting a chili cookoff from 1-4 pm to benefit the NH Humane Society! Admission is $5! There are 14 or so restaurants participating.... Burrito Me, Fratello's, Tavern 27, Lyons Den, Kitchen Cravings, Christmas Island to name a few! ;)

Come Down and warm up with some great chili for an even greater cause!

Did any forum members get to the chili fest? I didn't, simply because I live 1 1/2 hours away and although I absolutely love chili the other members of my family don't, so I was overruled. :( I have to admire the owner(s) of the LP for opening up their facility to other restaurants for this event, and am glad to see that they came in second in the competition - kudos to you guys!

That's what I read, on the Lyon's Den thread. Now I have two places to try chili!

First Annual Chili Cook Off

Yes, indeed the Lyons' Den won the First Annual Chili Cook Off - And yes a big thanks and many kudos to our hosts at the Lobster Pound. ~ And The Humane Society was the biggest winner of the day!

Roland's chili is beanless and has tenderloin as well as ground beef and just the right amount of heat... We would love to repeat next year!!

No beans? No fun later on!
