This was taken just a few minutes ago and thought I would share it with you all. The sun is setting over Timber island.

What a great weekend!!

Hope you Enjoy;

Dan

Thanks for that pic. Like I always say. You need just the right clouds at just the right time for a great sunset pic. I haven't been out and about with my camera like I should be. I have to get back into it. That is a great shot and an end to a great day weather wise. Although Sat. was a 10 in my book.

Great shot, ishoot308!...not as nice as yours, but thought I'd share....this was last Wednesday from Moultonborough.

That's a real beauty!

We didn't come up to the lake this weekend - the forecast looked VERY cold (particularly at night), and we had a function to attend Saturday night anyway... but, there was sure a nice sunset!

Hopefully, things will be a LOT warmer next weekend.

Regards,

Steve

Just in case any astronauts wanted to see it I kept the photo large....sorry about that, gotta figure out how to downsize!

You call yourselves islanders?! ;)

Warmer weather would surely be nice! While out on the PWC with the dogs, we went by your place to see if you were there.

Sorry you weren't! It was a very nice weekend, despite the September-like weather. This was Bailey's first ride on the Sea Doo. We all had fun.

SIKSUKR 06-07-2011 11:43 AM

Hey, is it legal to have four on a 3-up PWC? If so than you can pull 3 people behind it and have the 3 spotters required.:D

Hi RG / RG! Sorry we missed you. We're planning on being up this weekend, even though the weather forecast is COLD again ;) I think we were all very spoiled after last summer's (and spring's) beautiful and warm weather!

It wasn't just the weather. We had an obligation on Saturday late afternoon/evening, so we would have had to bug out at about 2:30 at the latest.

Heck, today it was around 90, and I didn't even put on the air conditioning in the car. Some like it hot :D

Do stop by again. Usually, the boat is parked at the safe dock, which is not at the cottage itself. This may give the appearance of "no one home", but if there's a light on, or the door is open, we're there!

Regards,

Steve

We hadn't even considered that there were four of us on our three person PWC!

I e-mailed my silly question to Marine Patrol and I was told that the dogs would not count towards the capacity, but would count towards the weight limit. Guess we're lucky they're small and light. :D

We're good and legal to ride! Yippee! :D

SIKSUKR 06-15-2011 12:19 PM

Holy cow RG, I was only joking about the dogs counting. I'm sure MP got a good chuckle from your e-mail though.

Never Enough: Based on the clouds, it looks like you were near my position at the same time. Any chance you were in a green and white run-about? If so, I was the red and white Crownline near you. I hope I was courteous.

Lakesrider 07-13-2011 06:39 AM

Great pictures lately people. I haven't been out with my camera in a while. Way too busy.:(

Never Enough 07-13-2011 07:42 AM

We were floating on the Broads...no other boats nearby except for a dark hulled cruiser a bit away from us... No worries, NH boater, I'm sure you were gracious... Looking forward to another great weekend on the lake! Enjoy All!
