what was the boat towing in the Broads?

Alright so yesterday I was sitting out on the porch at Samoset on the Broads in Gilford when this Boat came by towing something way behind it. At first I thought it was just a Tube but then a pontoon boat came by dropped two scuba divers in the lake and hung out watching this boat. So it turns out the boat was towing some type of submarine thing that when the boat went faster the sub would go shooting under water right near the divers. They made about 6 or 7 passes then left. There was a pontoon boat and a ski boat both with dive flags hanging out watching this. Anyone have any idea what this was?

Sorry I couldn't get any pictures.

Maybe a paddle boat? I can say from experience as a youth that if you tow one fast enough, it turns into a submarine.

Sounds like it's the opposite of parasailing; instead of going up, it goes down. Watch out for submerged rocks!

I saw a small (maybe 15 feetlong) submarine on a trailer in Tilton Sunday evening. It looked like a silver cigar with a plexiglass bubble (like a P51) on the top.

No it was white with a capsule for someone to sit in. I would estimate that two thirds of it was under water with just the door to capsule exposed. I wish I could have gotten a picture for you guys.
