Cockpit Carpeting Question
 

Hi All,

My berber carpeting is 7 years old and looks / feels fine on the carpet side. However the black rubber backing is coming off all over the cockpit deck it also sticks to the cockpit deck when wet from swimming. Has anyone else had this issue and besides buying new carpeting; anything I can do to stop this mess?

Some ideas here, for gooping up the back with different stuff:

But I just replaced the carpet, make sure the new stuff has the light colored backing with horizonatal lines, not the black honeycomb stuff. I used these guys, great work and not much money.
