Boat canvas work

Does anyone know of a good company that can build a front and side vinyl screen for my boat? I already have the top I'm just looking for the front and sides. I have a 24 ft bowrider. Thanks for the help

Canvas Guys

The Canvas Guys in Gilford do great work at very reasonable prices in a short amount of time. They have done a couple things for me that came out fantastic.

Good Luck!

In Laconia. I highly recomend his work on auto upholstery as well as boat upholstery and canvas tops.

Hi Steve,

Try Bev at Village Canvas. He made a custom cover for our barge's pilot house a few seasons ago. Great quality work, give him a call.

I used Village and had problems.

He did a top, windshield, and sides for my 25 outlaw. I had problems with it (zipper thread was coming apart the first year) and he would not return calls so I went to Ship Shape and they have been doing all my work since. He also didn't install a zipper on the back of the top as is always done for a future aft curtain.
Ship Shape did a awsome job on a full camper package for my wifes boat.
I understand no one is perfect and we all make mistakes, but at least return my phone calls even if you can't get me in right away.

I've had 2 custom canvases done for my boat by Village Canvas. Both fit wonderfully and have performed very well.

We replace the first last year as after 9 years it was showing it's age. Last month, our boat broke from the mooring on a windy day and ended up on the rocks. In addition to the hull damage, a few of the canvas snaps on one side were bent. So Village Canvas was brought in to repair that damage.

From an unrelated bonehead move on my part, there was a small rip in the canvas on the other side, about 9 inches long. While the canvas was there, the Village folks also repaired this rip, without being asked, and didn't charge me for it. In response they said, "We couldn't stand having it look that way."

Great work and great customer service.

Steve where is your boat located? this is the biggest piece of information that most people forget to give, and it is the biggest help in trying to advise people on where to go for specific help. The other additional information that would be helpful in this case would be to know if you trailer your boat. For instance if you in Wolfeboro and don't trailer your boat, using Village Canvas in Meredith become a pain, but there are surely other companies on that side of the lake.
