WANTED: Trailer to rent (for about a week)

I have a 23' (5500 lbs, 8.5' beam) boat I need to transport from one boatyard to another, but would like to keep in my driveway for about a week in-between to do a little cleaning and light maintenance.

Preferably closest to Nashua, but I can drive a bit if need-be.

I'm ready to do it fairly quickly - so I can have it back in time for anyone needing it to haul their boat out.

Check at "Skip's." They have/had a Sea Ray in the yard about those same dimensions on a dual axle trailer. If you offer them enough, they may be willing to put it on blocks for a week.

Not sure what you'd do about a plate though.

Yes I'm talking the boat TO Nashua Marine - but they don't really have any trailers kicking around to use.

wild guess but try Irwin marine in Hudson NH, or Uhaul in south Nashua. Maybe a moving company?

I would have it hauled then straight to Nashua marine, they are real good about letting you work on your boat in the yard and do have running water for cleaning. Just make sure they put it in the boat area and away from the race trailer that's stored there(my brother-inlaw had a not so good experience being parked next to them ) I know I have gone there and worked on his pontoon a couple of times.

I am happy to report that I found a very generous neighbor who is not only loaning me his trailer for the month - but is also helping me haul it both from Skip's to my driveway - then from my driveway to Nashua!

It's nice being able to work in their boatyard - but you can't match the amount of work I'll be able to get done with it sitting right here for a month!! :D
