Weirs Beach Lobster Pound
 

Ok... I have read all the reviews - driven by it a million times - but hesitated due to some of the issues that I have read here. All I can do is relate you my experience and that of my family as we entered the Lobster Pound - with a $25 restaurant.com gift certificate - and we were honestly, nervous about what our experience was going to be.
It was last saturday night 6:15- 6:30- nice size crowd- Red Soxs were imploding on the TV - we sat inside - ordered our drinks - which came promptly - ordered our calamari appetizer that was delivered promptly, hot and delicious - the main courses: Lobster Mac & Cheese (I will dream of this dish for a long time) .. two double stuffed lobster rolls - and baked haddock (I think)- everything was fabulous- food, service, atmosphere...my only one "complaint" would be with a $25 meal a salad would be nice ... but beyond that did we get lucky - who knows - but with $25 restaurant.com gift certificate would I go again... YUP !!! - I know in a forum like this, I know I am more motivated, to write about a negative experience than a good one ... well not this time "well done Lobster Pound"
