Lakeside at Winnipesaukee Association in Alton
 

We have been looking at some homes and land in the Alton area and are focusing in on a few in this association. Does anyone have info or insight on the Lakeside at Winnipesaukee association?

At first glance, the dues look a bit high at about $200 per month, figuring there are approximately 52 lots in the association. Thats almost $125k per year. Where does it all go?

I have heard they have a building committee and have to approve all plans prior to construction. Not sure of how I feel about that, I guess my sentiments are split.

Just curious if any members live there or have experience and/or knowledge of the association.
