Crank Up Dock

Anyone install a crank up dock in the last few years?

Just curious what they cost. $5k? 10$k? $15k?

Looking to get a ball park cost for cement pad and 6'x40' or 4'x40' crank up dock.

I'm in the "just wondering" phase right now, not interested in calling the several area marine constructions places just yet in case my idea of the cost is way off base.

I think a 6x40' is about $12k installed. At lease it was last time I checked which was a few years ago.

Ouch!

Ouch! 12k.

Looks like it will still be me, a ladder, and a sledgehammer.

Thanks for the quick info.

crank up dock

I have a 5 ft x 30 ft aluminum crank up that was replaced with a new dock last year. this dock is being rebuilt to current standards and would be 7,000.00 installed if it was a cut and dry installation. Call 253-4000 or 707-0268 cell ... with any questions you may have. Center Harbor Dock & Pier

Get a used one

Go to NH Craigslist. Type in "Aluminum Dock". There is a CRANK UP for sale...a 40 foot one for $2000. I bought two used ones a couple of years ago. After one season, they are all used !! Trust me, you can save a huge amount of money if you just work the process. But DO NOT DELAY....get the dock now before someone else scoops it up.
