Disposal of used oil/hazardous waste
 

My town has a location at the transfer/dumping area to dispose of used oil. Most towns do have locations to dispose of same. You also can take it back to the place you purchased the oil plus many shops will take it off of your hands as they burn it for heating their garages etc. Many local areas have one or several hazardous waste days a year so that all paints, batteriers and other household items can be turned in at no cost. :)
