CAn anyone help me...

I need some information:

Who were the two original postmasters "on the lake"?

What marina celebrates 40 years in business this year?

What was the original name of "The Wise Owl" cottage colony?

Thanks so much for your help. Jane:look:

Mail began to be carried on the Lake in the late 1800's, but the first official date was 1892 when Rural Free Delivery Route #7 was set up under contract to Dr. George Saltmarsh with the vessel Robert and Arthur the first mailboat.

than I believe it was capt edward lavelle

I know that Ernie Piper was postmaster in Tuftonboro back when i was little...Don't know if he is one of the oldest or not...That was 50-60+ years ago...
