There have been several prior threads that may help which the search function will find. Such as: http://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums/...ight=lady+bugs

Right now they are getting ready to leave so you can wait for warm weather or use the vacuum.

It's Their Nature...

They've likely wintered in a potted plant moved indoors last Autumn.

The bugs will flock to bright light: remove a screen and open a window facing bright sunlight.

With the lady bug's ingrained perogative, they get to pick the day! :emb:

Cutting to the chase...

I used to mix detergent, a dab of anti-freeze, and water in a sprayer for my grandfather to use on the ALB's in his back yard. Bugs don't have lungs. The soap clogs their breathing pores and they suffocate. I was surprised at how effective it was.

You can probably do without the anti-freeze and use an organic soap product if you wish to be more 'green.'
