Break between Melvin Bay and Moultonborough Bay
 
There is a definitive break between Melvin and Moultonborough Bays now. Need some warmth and sun!!!

Ummm...we have had plenty of that. That I wish to stop!!! Don't want a windy summer either.

Wind is good for ice-out. Warm, windy days are optimal for breaking up the ice on the lake. According to the Lake Winnipesaukee FB page:
"Big patches of open water all over the lake, now! A few warm days and some strong winds should break up the rest of the ice!"

A windy summer would be awesome for sailing on the lake. :)
