Type III PFD Found

I'm not sure if this is the correct Forum to make this post in.....but....this morning my wife "fished" an XL sized West Marine life jacket out of the lake along the Broads side of Rattlesnake Island with the name "R. Flaherty" written on the inside. Is there an R Flaherty out there?
