Dewey's??
 

Anyone know when Dewey's Ice Cream in Center Harbor is opening? They've done a lot of work on the building since that bizarre accident when a truck slammed into it last summer. It looks like the work is done and the place is ready to go, but there's no "opening soon" sign or anything on the door.

When I wa up last week it just said closed

Not to mean permanently just still listed as closed. No sign saying reopening soon

I believe they are opening tomorrow, they just recently got the ok to operate after the repairs can't be to soon for me need some Heath Bar Crunch yogurt

Dewey's is open again get your ice cream..........................until he gets up to speed with help I believe he will be closed on Fridays and one other day during the week. Check when you go get your first scoop of the summer :liplick:

I stopped today on the way home from Sandy - had my first peppermint stick ice cream cone of the season!! YUM!

Taste of summer
 

We stopped yesterday (Sunday) and started the season with Rum Raisin and Maine Black Bear. Sooooo good!

I can't place them in Center Harbor what are they near?

Right across from the fountain of the squirting duck or whatever it is. Same parking los as Lavinas (I think that name has changed also)

Had to post that we had another great visit to Deweys! Thanks again. We will be back in a another couple of days for our pints of ice cream before returning home to NY next week.

Dewy's is the very best! But, they are definitely closed for the winter.

My kids worked at Deweys off and on over the past few years and I can tell you that they sell Richardsons Ice cream which is an award winning product. I believe Skelleys Market in Moultonborough also sells Richardsons ice cream and according to their web site they will hand pack quarts and pints. It is really tasty stuff. Now that I think of it, the ice cream place next to the town docks in Alton also sells it but I don't know if they are open in the off season.

Thanks so much for the responses.guess we will have to wait until our summer vacation.

Contact Richardson's directly...see below... and ask them where else they distribute ice cream in the winter to NH lakes region.
