Donna Jean's Diner at the Weirs

Excellent diner food. Tastes like homemade hollandaise and béarnaise sauces to top their huge variety of eggs benedict. My favorite is a tenderloin benedict with béarnaise. Good coffee, hash browns, burgers, etc. Pleasant staff. Right on the Weirs circle.

Donna Jean's breakfast

I had business to attend to in Laconia this morning, so, on the way home I stopped at Donna Jean's for lunch. I had first heard about it on this site, so I thought I would try it. What a great place! I ordered the Eggs Benedict Filet and it was delicious.

I also noticed two signs I thought were particularly appropriate: 1) Never trust a skinny cook, and 2) This Is A Drama-Free Zone.

To top off my All-American, healthy, and ever-so delicious lunch, I went to Flurries in Meredith and had a chocolate frappe.

Time for a nap!!

How's Flurries these days? I've always found that restaurant to be ok maybe not "the best" of things like I believe a sign there may imply but it has been 4 or 5 years since I stopped. Anything in particular their worth stopping for?
