Lake Effect Snow?
 

There is a stiff WNW wind this morning accompanied by very light snow, and the sun is out...could this be lake effect snow?

I think you need a much larger body of water, among other factors to create lake effect snow. Even then, the snow usually falls further inland than the shore.
I saw the flakes too. Hopefully more Monday!
