how to get to Moultonboro?

We have a condo at the Weirs and are looking for the best way to ride to the VK for breakfast.

Any suggestions on the route to take?

Corridor 15

You can take Corridor 15 (Rail Bed) from the Weirs and follow it toMoultonboro.
It is basically all by land.

If you wanted to try by Lake get over to Moultonboro Bay and when you get up to where Corridor 15 crossed the Lake to the Castle go left and back up 15 to Local RT 201.

Good Luck, Hopefully the snow will still be good by the weekend. I am not sure if there is a "Club" ride this weekend?

I have been asked where is the Map I occasionally use to show the Route of our Trial Rides. Below is My secret source.

NHSA Interactive Trail Map

You can adjust the size of the map to add or reduce the area you are looking for.

What is the source of these maps that get uploaded? They seem handy and over multiple clubs.

try this link. I believe local knowledge allowed the placement of the VK location;).

How to:
I use the "SNIPPING TOOL" to cut the Area and save it. I then open it with "EDIT" (PAINT) and add my remarks.

Thanks! I forgot about the NHSA map online. I hope the snow lasts too..

I did not realize the railbed was a trail at the Weirs so that makes it easy.

Besides the NHSA map you can also use this one:

I can't believe the local trails are in good shape right now. We were out last Sunday and a lot of trails were getting thin, and then we had the warmer weather this week. Also, every lake I passed by this week had large puddles and slush. I know it has been colder the past few days but might have to think about trailering up north a bit

Maybe we will trailer over at baker river instead....I'll check on their trails.

This is my son's first year on the trails on his own machine so he was excited to ride from our condo to someplace around the lake. We just havent been able to get to the lake to ride until now.

I would stay of the tracks. A friend tore off his ski and suspension hitting a bolt yesterday. very dangerous as it can stop you dead in your tracks!!

I have heard of that happening where there are switches in the track as well. I think we'll go over to Baker River. It's not to far. Hard to imagine the seaon is winding down already!
