Strawberry Patch - Wolfeboro

Strawberry Patch is closing! I copied this from their facebook page.

"It has been a long Winter, but it gave us time to think. We will not be opening this Spring. Strawberry Patch will close for good, on April 1st. We would like to thank all of our loyal Customers for your patronage throughout the years, and you know who you are. Many have become friends, and have brought your smiles and laughter with you. We will cherish the memories that we have, as we move onto our next chapter in life. Thank you for the memories."

SAD! I love their eggs benedict!

Heard rumors that a new restaurant will be opening there. A completely different kind of place and owned by a former Wolfeboro restaurant owner. I can't say anymore until I am certain this is fact and not just rumor.

I heard the same thing, Barbara.

It is called Wolfe Den - was open in town previously in location of current 'El Centenario'

Closed/went out of business last time.

Barbara Naramore who owned Wolfetrap is the proprietor.

Hopes to open in early May

Does she own the Wolfetrap again? What happened to the people that she sold it to? Did she get it back?

Patiently Watching 04-24-2015 08:38 PM

No - Wolfetrap has not changed ownership again.

OH, I am sorry, Patiently. You wrote OWNED and I guess I read it as owns. My fault.

I heard it is going to be a high end restaurant. True??

Barbara 04-27-2015 05:54 PM

That's the rumor I heard. Barbara Naramore will be opening an Oyster Bar and restaurant. That's all I was told.

Is it open yet?

Just wondering if Barbara Naramore did open up something new at the old Strawberry Patch spot. Just love her stuff!

Yes she did. Or is.

Hard-to-Beat Quality!

'Ate there last evening—in the outdoors section. (Just steps from Main Street). The entire experience was excellent!

:liplick:

The food (and desserts) were tops, and the wait staff were particularly enthused and attentive.

:look:
