Let us not forget the brave and dedicated who provided for us the ability to enjoy a nice long weekend.

2,852,901 men and women have given their lives for our freedom...additional 40,917 are missing since 1775.

May they all rest in peace and Thank you.

We will fortunately be spending the weekend at the lake. Are there any Memorial Day events planned anywhere? We usually go to our hometown parade.
Thanks for posting this remembrance to all that sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

We were on the Mount last year with a group of friends and I was wearing a red, white and blue button that read "Home of the free BECAUSE of the brave." A mother of a Marine came up to me and hugged me and thanked me for remembering our soldiers. I told her that NONE and I mean NONE of any of all this, that we enjoy and hold so dear, would be possible without them. Please don't forget them.
