She is headed home !
The New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro will acquire The Little Mount Washington, affectionately known as "The Mini Mount." This is the wonderfull 50' scale replica of the M/V Mount Washington cruising Winnipesaukee. The move will occur sometime in 2016-date, time and route to be announced. Thanks to all who have helped in this endeavor to save the "Mini"

Will it ever go back into the water or will it be permanently drydocked?

Front Page!
Mini Mount made the front page today of the Laconia Daily Sun and the Laconia Citizen. Sweet.

I am a member of the NH Boat Museum. We are very excited about the mini mount returning to Wolfeboro!!!

I know that at 50' she's a big boat, but it's unfortunate that she won't be displayed inside and protected from all the elements.
|
The plan is for the "Mini" to have a good shelter, though probably not indoors. The hope is that she will end up down by the water under some type of protective pavilion and quite visible.

What's The Latest?
Where is she now?
