Ames Farm Inn

Pros cons from recent stays in apartments?

We plan on going August, family of 4 and bringing the boat! Thanks!

If you want a quieter place, I would recommend Colonial Pines Resort. No restaurant on-site but Center Harbor has some great ones. IMHO

Pineedles, if that is the place right before your camp, I totally agree with you. Always see people there having a fantastic time. PLUS... the 20 foot breakline out in from of those cottages are LOADED with smallmouth during the summer.

One nice thing about the location of Ames Farm is that the lake immediately in front of it is usually not as rough as it is further out, which makes for good water skiing.

Lots of good dining options nearby (Alton, Gilford).

Nice, big sandy beach which does gradually deepens.

Small restaurant on site (good breakfasts).

Hi Topwater, nice to hear from you again! Yes, it is several camps before our place. Bass are plentiful off their boathouse. In fact my son caught a decent size pickerel there as well.

Tight lines,

Pineedles
