That's a great deal, they cost $500 new. I'd buy it if I did not already have one.

I can't tell but it looks like it includes the 94005 adapter. Whereas I would need the 94006 for a Merc 496 (?).

You can buy the adapters separately.

I have both for mine if you ever need to scan your motor.

Since this is the Merc specific unit, I wonder if it will work with Volvo engines?

They both use MEFI and 555 ECUs so it should work on either, but can't say for sure without trying it.

Would be an expensive experiment for me... so I'll pass. But if you ever see a universal one like you have, let me know.
