Smallmouth in bays?

Anyone finding smallmouth shallow yet?

Yes.. Been scouting on the kayak the last few days. Starting to see nests being made for largies too! No bites yet for me though.

I caught a nice 2.5 lb. smallmouth at 15 ft. (water was about 50 ft. deep) near Treasure Island today. It went for the salmon streamer fly I was trolling!
