Bear Island: lost puppy
 

Posting for a neighbor who lost a golden retriever puppy. The puppy is missing from the area near the East Bear Island mailboat dock. She has no collar or tags or microchip, unfortunately. Answers to the name of Maisy. She's about 6 months old, friendly. She hasn't strayed far before but ran off with two other dogs today, so she may be far from home and not be able to find her way back. Great news!!! Maisy, the wandering puppy, has returned. She had followed a family to the church, St. John's-on-the-Lake, on the high spot on Bear Island. 🐻
