Looking for a Flooring Installer

We just bought a new home in Meredith and need to find someone to install multiple types of flooring. Looking for recommendations for installing laminate, hardwood, carpeting and tile. Hoping to find someone who does quality custom work at fair pricing. Would love find someone who does their job with a creative touch and takes pride in their work.

Normally I would do most of this work myself, but I'm currently recovering from back surgery. Any help in finding a good, reliable flooring specialist would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks ....:patriot:

Lamy's Flooring:

We and friends of ours had hardwood flooring both refinished and new installed. Quality work at a reasonable price.

Don't laugh when I say this, but we have had better luck with Home Depot then dealing directly with local installers. Saved some money in the process as well. They monitor their contractors pretty closely and weed out the ones with bad reviews (you get a phone call after the installation).

http://www.home-beautiful.com We've had subfloors, engineered flooring and carpet installed by one of their contractors. Quality work, done on time and on budget.

ADF Flooring has done wonderful work for me and my family. They do all types of floors and had the best prices in the area.

Just what I needed

Thanks for the suggestions. We'll have to visit them and see what they can offer. Checked each of their websites and they all offer what we need. Even Home Depot can be good if they send the right installers. I've had good and bad experiences with them. Thanks again!

Second on ADF. I've used them several times, high quality work and they stand behind the work they do. Here's the phone number: 603-856-8040

I noticed the other day that Lamy's is not in the building on Rt 25 in Center Harbor anymore. Where did they move to?

Suggest you check out Angie's List for recommended installers.

We had hardwood flooring work done out of the Wolfeboro store:

Don't know if they consolidated to one store or moved the Rt 25 business.

I'd also recommend The Home Beautiful in Belmont. They did a great job for us!

Dave Gammon

We recently had our bedroom floor installed by Dave Gammon. We purchased the engineered hardwood flooring from Gilford Home Center, and Dave installed it. I don't think Dave installs carpet, but if you are considering wood floors, we highly recommend Dave! Dave can be reached at 528-1089.

Nice to know that Dave will install flooring bought elsewhere. We've seen some nice flooring at a great price at the bigger Home Centers, but you never know who they will send to install it. Thank you Major!
