Verizon vs. Sprint
Hello, we are thinking of switching all the business cell phones to Sprint. I've seen a lot of older threads which pretty unanimously agreed Sprint was no good. I am wondering if the service in this area has improved at all?
Thank you! |
I can say that Sprint in the Moultonborough area stinks. I get roaming overage notices every time we are up there for the weekends. Meredith and Wiers I get good Sprint reception.

This. The Sprint service is spotty at best as soon as you leave Center Harbor "downtown"

Thats a head scratcher. Thinking of changing all your BUSINESS cell phones to a provider you say you've pretty much seen "unanimous no good" service reviews?

Family members who have HAD sprint say the coverage and service is terrible!
I would stay away for sure! Dan |
Sprint coverage
Sprint coverage is spotty in NH. If you live and NH and can prove to Sprint you are in an area you have no coverage, they may waive roaming fees. When you are on roaming you pick up the Verizon network.

I had Sprint for many years when I lived and worked in New York. At the time we vacationed a couple of times a year at Waterville Valley. Once a week or so we would make a trip to the Weirs and I would get three or four voice mails as soon as I walked into the Kellerhaus. The reason I loved Sprint? Work couldn't get me except when we took the kids for ice cream. It was wonderful.
If someone really needed me, they could call my wife's Verizon phone... I'm sure Sprint coverage has expanded since, but living here, Verizon has been very reliable. It was spotty in some areas in southern/western NH -- the Keene area into the Pioneer Valley of MA -- but around the lake it has been fine. |
