current propane prices

Just curious as to what people have recently paid for bulk propane deliveries (over 100 gallons). I just paid $1.63/gallon. I know it fluctuates during the heating season but my price has stayed the same for past four months.

Propane price is up compared to last year. Kerosene took a good dip!

Propane

I paid $2.16/gallon yesterday with my 10 day pay discount. I use over 1800 gallons per year. Sounds like you are getting a very good deal?

According to the following government website, Residential propane in NH is over $3/gallon...

I was pleasantly surprised at my recent Kerosene fill up. I just paid more for regular heating oil back in Mass.

Belonging to energy groups can also lower the cost of the various fuels. We saved over $2 per gallon on propane by joining Our Town Energy Alliance a year or so back. We also get a break on our kerosene costs. Both supplied by Eastern.

I am first time user for propane, Eastern filled today 30 gallons at 2.50 . seems high compared to everyone else, why is it so far off prices I see others paying.

Your useage is probably not enough to warrant the lower pricing....

Opec is squeezing off supply, so expect prices to rise. I'm hoping more shale comes back on line to make up the difference and dull the bite of Opec. Time will tell.

Mid winter propane prices

Curious as to what people paid in February for large deliveries of propane (100+ gallons). I know that prices can change dramatically over the course of the heating season but I was surprised my price went up by about 10% with last delivery. Sort of figured with the relatively mild winter, prices would hold steady or go down a bit (well it was a hope). $1.83/gallon for last fill up. What did others pay?

I had a delivery of 210 gallons at a rental house I have in Gilford. The price was $1.73 per gallon. What was interesting was the supplier accidentally also put someone else's bill in my envelope. They got 182 gallons on the same day. They were charged $2.15 per gallon. There is a message here..................
