Berry Picking
Does anyone know of anywhere to pick strawberries, or anything else that may be ready for picking? :liplick:
Thanks for your help! |
Nellie- I have seen signs on route 28 about 5 miles south of the Alton circle. Sorry I can't be more specific. Have fun!

Berry picking
There is a sign on Rt. 28 just over the Barnstead Line near Crescent Lake for blueberries. The left turn (heading south on 28) is opposite North Road.
There is also a sign for berries in New Durham at the blinking light at the new Johnson's restaurant heading towards Prospect Mountain. |
Hi Nellie.. I think the blueberry info from GH will end up being the same place, just a different way to get there. We were on Rte 106 and saw a sign for PYO strawberries, heading south just as you are leaving Belmont (there is a small lake on the left), there is a road that cuts off to the left, but I couldn't catch the name...probably 4 or 5 miles south of rte 140/105 junction.

Try Smith Farm---I've been there once before I think for picking strawberries, wow it seems like its been a long time...anyways I don't know if they are ready for picking but you may want to look it up or give them a call....just a thought.
