Summa Humma...I'm jealous!

I've been seeing a lot more of that Summa Humma this summer than last summerand it's easy to recognize. What-aboat! What-a trailing plume of water! What-an-icon! You know, I am jealous! It is listed for sale on nhboat.com for $295000. and includes a trailer. Some questions: Is it launchable from the Shep Browns boat launch? How big is the gas tank? How much turtle wax reg green at $2.65/bottle, Wal-Mart price, does it need to wax it and how long does it take? Can it be towed with a 12 year old Geo Tracker that has 4-wheel drive? How well do the three 550hp MercCruisers troll for Salmon at 1.5 mph? Can it be rigged with an auxilliary main sail & jib for when gas goes above $2.50/gal. Is there any chance of letting it go for $9940. if that 45-25 you-know item gets passed?

Don't hold your breath.

There will always be a market for that boat. (Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates come to mind).

Come to think of it, I'll bet that boat's insurance "deductible" would pay for every boat you and I have owned during our lifetimes!

Looks like you really are JEALOUS!

Selling an American made boat like that off to the very salty waters of the Arabian Gulf would be a shame. Better, it should end up in the cool, clean water of Lake Geneva, Switzerland and owned by some Swiss chocolate magnate like that character, Goldfinger.

Nope, not Switzerland, either.

There, you'll find the strictest noise laws in Europe:

Quote:

"Another innovation for these Swiss noise laws was "engine encapsulation", which consisted of panels with insulation packed around the valve covers. These are just as bad, or worse, than the engine undertray."

"The good news ... is that this stuff is relatively easy to remove..."

Switzerland enforces its laws, and doesn't pander to Narcissists.
