Wine Tasting & Art Show to Benefit Winnipesaukee

1 Attachment(s)
Show your love for the lake by attending this special wine tasting event featuring the new Winnipesaukee Rosé crafted by Hermit Woods Winery for the benefit of the Lake Winnipesaukee Association. 10% of the profits on this wine go to help fund the Lake Winnipesaukee Association's lake protection programs. Stephen Hodecker, local Meredith artist, generously donated the artwork for the wine label, and will have several of his pieces on display for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds going to the lake association. Live music by John Irish.

Tickets are $30 in advance, and $40 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-celeb...083346?aff=es2. Ticket price includes wine tasting and hor d’oeuvres. Catering provided by Lakeside Deli & Grille.

Proceeds benefit the Lake Winnipesaukee Association.

Did you mean 100% of the 'profits' go to the LWA? If not, where does the other 90% go? Serious question....

I'd assume to Hermit Wood. Aren't they the folks who jacked up their prices and put a sign out that it was due to the minimum wage hike?

Yes they are and for that reason I will not buy any of their products

I would not make that same assumption. I would bet that eventbrite makes more money on this gimmick than is donated to Lake Winnipesaukee Association. JMO

Nearly $4,000 and counting!

A big shout out and thanks to Hermit Woods Winery and other sponsors as our accounting for the Wine Tasting and Art Show is now complete. So far, $3,995 has been donated to Lake Winnipesaukee Association to benefit our conservation and education programs on the lake.

Thanks to all of our sponsors and purchasers of tickets, wine and art. 10% of proceeds from Hermit Woods Winnipesaukee Rose and 20% of art sales continue to come to us at LWA.

Visit our website to see a summary of our conservation efforts.
