Cutting A Corian Countertop

We have a slide in stove that we want to replace. All the stoves you can buy now are larger than our current stove. We are looking for someone who can cut into our Corian countertop to make a larger space. I am hoping that a forum member can recommend a person that can solve this problem.

Any good finish work contractor should be able to handle that. Corian is really just plastic, it cuts and tools pretty easily.

Yes, it cuts and tools with the same tools you would use on wood, though you may want to use different blades. Agree with above, any good carpenter could do this. But you probably want to make sure they have done Corian before so they aren't learning on yours. Without the right prep and blades, it can chip along the cut.
