Kitchen Counter Tops - Lakes Region

Anyone know of any independent contractor that actually makes kitchen counter tops in the Lakes Region?

Standard ordinary laminate counter top.

No need for tips to go to lumber yard or Lowe's/Home Depot.

Independent contractor that makes counter tops.

That's like trying to find a TV repair man. I had a friend of mine that did it for a living in Mass but the granite companies pretty much put him out of business.

Pretty sure Claremont Dumont could do that. He mostly does resurfacing, but he has a shop and built a custom cabinet for us, so a countertop should be easier. His work was very good.

www.pinnaclekitchens.com , close to Exit-23, in New Hampton, has a kitchen showroom and will build you a beautiful custom counter using plastic laminate if that's what you want.

You may not know that plastic laminate is made that looks just like granite and is totally super-duper fantastilc, but without the porosity problems or big cost of granite. Like, why go granite, when plastic laminate has a betterer performance record!

Wonder if they could build me a heavy duty kitchen counter using a 60-year old 42"x 8' aluminum dock section, formerly the old, beat up, sailboat dock, that's no longer needed ...... just need to use it for something?
