Meredith Parade
 

Congratulations to the organizers of the Meredith 250th Anniversary parade held yesterday in downtown Meredith. It was an awesome parade with lots of music, floats and engines and trucks from the Meredith Fire Department and surrounding towns. The organizers should proud of their efforts to celebrate the birthday of Meredith.

Me and my family were very disappointed that we had to miss the parade. My son starts school tomorrow and we had to begin our drive back to Florida on Wednesday. I wish I could have stayed through the weekend to view the parade. I heard it was awesome. Does anybody have pictures and/or videos they can post? Thank you.

Maybe Not Worthy for a 250 Year Celebration
 

In my opinion, the parade was just an above average one, not worthy of a 250 year celebration. Should have hired some out-of-town entertainment like Holderness did a few years ago with that fife and drum band from Connecticut.

Personally, I think the town and the organizers did a great job with the parade. The smiles on all the children in the crowd says it all! That said, all the photos are at the beginning and the videos are toward the end. Enjoy! ;)
