Another New Hampshire First

From the Laconia Daily Sun.

New Hampshire taxpayers boast the most cost-effective public services in the nation

New Hampshire scored highly on the WalletHub analysis examining taxpayer ROI.

New Hampshire residents get the most bang for their buck.

New Hampshire has the fourth best public school system in the nation and the third lowest rate of violent crime

NH and FL

We now spend 7 mos in Naples, FL and remainder in Moultonboro. Both states quite similar in many respects. One thing I like about NH Vs the other NE states is that NH is pretty damn politically even-certainly the most so of all the NE states. Same in FL so your vote really counts. Lived (unfortunately) in Upstate NY for 35 years where my vote was a waste of time.

Both states spend their taxpayers money as wisely as any in the country I think and I respect that. Be nice if our federal dollars were spent as "perspicaciously".

I did not mean to wax politically but rather to put forward another reason to like NH!

If you look at all the lovely new proposals the legislature is working on in Concord, NH is not going to be so tax friendly if they have their way. Thank the Democrats that are driving a lot of this nonsense. Thankfully I think Sununu will veto it all.

Oh I know! The latest two are capital gains and raise business profits and business enterprise tax again. Another gas tax too? I think there was something for infrastructure. I wonder how many programs and how many taxes they are going to come up with before they actually DO fix the roads, etc? And they want to do something about education so you know what that means. I figured this would happen when the NH legislature went Democratic. The Dems never saw a tax they didn't like.

They are pushing all sorts of so called green initiatives too that are estimated to make the cost of electricity go way up. It's completely insane.

Yes. And exactly what I expected when I heard they took control. How about you?

As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, we can predict this with the same certainty! :fire:
