I think this sums up many of us...

I'm big on Venn diagrams. The problem with this one is that I truly believe the vast majority of the country, regardless of political position, would place themselves in the center. The difficulty is that the relative sizes of the larger circles might be different and therein is the problem.

There really is more that unites us than divides us. Those that divide us just seem to be louder for the moment.

Or maybe, the loudest of the dividers aren't really from our country to begin with.

All three??
 

In fact, to fully appreciate the situation, you MUST be in the center overlap.

The mainstream media will take first place in the "dividers" category. Politicians come in a close second.
