Strip mall in Gilford

I know that a Tractor Supply is going there but it looks they are doing site work for a separate building. Does anyone know what else is being built?

Are you referring to the parcel on which the movie theatre and pizza shop are located?

If so, I don't know the answer but was unaware that TS was going there.

Has that been announced somewhere?

Fingers crossed.

Got my fingers crossed. Rochester is closer than Chichester, but customer service is better in Chichester.

I just saw an invitation for subcontractor bids for a TSC at this location so it looks like that's the case.

upthesaukee 06-15-2020 09:35 AM

Time frame?

Was there a time frame in the bid sheet?

Thanks

Also, if you did not notice -- at the request of the Landlord, Gilford house of Pizza moved 4 units closer to the Theater this past week.

Looks like they're trying to be completed in early September, not sure what that would mean in terms of opening.

Interesting to have watched how so many moved up here to get away from the strip malls and crowds....to leave the rat race behind. And here we have more stores - large and small - coming continually. In a few years all who came here for refuge from commercial areas and traffic will find themselves...back to square one in commercial areas and traffic.

People move to a place hoping it will not change but their presence causes change.

All For It!

That strip mall has been there for YEARS and the majority of it unoccupied in recent years. Tractor Supply moving in and leasing the majority of the existing building would certainly be a welcome addition to the community! Tractor Supply is the perfect store for that location and will provide many items of need for area residents.

:laugh::laugh::laugh: Good one up!! Really did make my day!

I have often wondered how many people think that is why I picked that, but tisn't. The 3 letters actually stand for something.

Not stealing your thunder as it was a great comeback but...the proper use would have been:

“Yes, ‘Tis”
