E.M.Heath & Local Farms

Just got some unbelievable NH strawberries.....first of the season.
Got me thinking that Heaths is the only supermarket that I know of that supports local farmers.Every year they bring in a huge assortment of fruits and veggies that are grown locally.Peaches, pears ,plums, berries, many varieties of apples and veggies of all kinds fresh from the farm and not from some supplier out of the country.Keep in mind that these products are not waxed and sprayed to preserve them and their loses are HUGE because they have very little shelf life and only last a few days on the shelf.
You may pay a few pennies more for some items but it's well worth it and they deserve our support.

Good point—I'm heading there today and will grab some fruit!

Thanks, Sam. Will pick some up, and their peaches when they arrive! Also--thanks again for your tip on Heath's fish--it has been excellent:)

Always get our fruit and veggies from Heaths. Definitely worth the extra $.
