Boat Hull Cleaner
I am looking to clean my boat myself this year.
What is the best way to do this to get the loose slim and the green water line cleaned off of the hull. The boat is still on the trailer and I heard many products cannot be used when on a trailer. Thanks |

Whatever you use, please don't do it where the rinse will drain into the lake or another wetland. Keeping it clean is always a great source of pride.

Distilled Water (for less residue) and Vinegar 50/50 mix in a bucket with a simple soft car wash brush.
All-natural, will rip through the brown/green slime with a simple soft scrub brush. Then do a wax before storing so next year stuff comes off even easier. I use that on my 'toon, much nicer than that muriatic acid crap that can etch. Vinegar should not hurt your gell-coat, not strong enough. And if it does not work for you, your out about $5 at Walmart (FLL would be happy). "Your mileage may vary,,," |

I have not. I've used it on SharkHide coated toons with good luck vs effort. Low effort, low cost for a decent clean.
I'd try it on a small section of lower transom to see how it works. |
