Kinda surprised when I saw this.

I heard a rumor that Spider Web Gardens was under contract or purchased by the Romney family to develop housing, and the nearby farm was also under contract/purchased to move Ann Romney's horses from their Waterfront property to make room for another house. Again, this is rumor.

That would be a real shame. Spider Web Gardens is one of the better nurseries in all of New England. The Bean Group still has this listing as 'active".

I heard the same. The farm is a bit down the street in Wolfeboro though.

Definitely one of the best around. I have had such good fortune with plants I've bought there over the years, including some perennials for this year.

Disappointed to learn it's on the market...

Same here. Top notch plants and shrubs. They expanded the operation recently.
