Tavern 27, 13 1/2, or 6.75?
As many already know, tavern 27 has been dormant inside and operating outside since Feb 2020. The team has been reduced to 1 1/2 people. That would be Leslie, the mom, as 1 1/4 , and baygo, the pop, as 1/4.
The memories of outside operation all winter last year will certainly live on for a long time for many of us, however, internally there is no interest in an encore performance, therefore as of this weekend we will be attempting to resurrect the tavern. The previous operations were what we had labeled an Americana twist on Tapas. A resurrection is likely to take quite some time. We will initiate our effort by introducing a more traditional tapas experience. There will be a smaller selection of menu options with most being on display behind the bar for a point at and receive service style. We hope to one day re-emerge as the tavern so many of you praised, and until then plead with you for your extended patience. We have added one more feather to the hat of accomplishments with the introduction of a distillery on property and are very excited to feature our very own Dancing Rabbit Vodka to the mix in and effort to brand us as a martini bar. It’s been a long 19 months with a number of silver linings on the cloud. Some kind regulars were generous with the creations/contribution of this link https://youtu.be/53yxJpERdNg Retail sales of the Vodka start this weekend with the first 50 people receiving a logo-ed shot glass |
Best of luck to you Baygo!!! I’m sure it will be a success.

Keep it honest, keep it real and you will succeed. What will be the sitting arrangements? Are you taken reservations?

Where else to buy?
When you ran the survey a while back, I voted for Scotch, which of course, you can only do in Scotland. Nevertheless., martinis can be a lot of fun. Best wishes for much success.
Will Dancing Rabbit be available at NH state outlets? |
Great news to have the tavern back. Good luck with the reopening.

Pardon my ignorance of distilling and selling booze, but can you distill and sell it directly on site?
To the uninformed one might think all liquor sales would need to be from state run liquor stores. Are you exempt? |
Can't wait to stock up on the vodka......love to have local products on hand for company. Best of luck

The entire process took about four years to complete. First there was town approval, then there was federal approval, then there was state approval. Distilling illegally is a very serious crime. |

Good to know!
Based on your always excellent restaurant posts, I've wanted to know your place for years, but did not want to ask in case you wanted to keep that off the board. We're on the opposite side of the lake, but I will look forward to visiting when I can. Good luck!

We ate at his place several years ago and enjoyed the small plates.
Tasty and different from the usual offerings in small town restaurants. |
