Recommendations for Paving in Moultonborough
I am looking to have my driveway paved in Moultonborough. Any recommendations?

There are many good paving companies in the area.
I have used Asphalitcs for several paving jobs. The price was fair and the work was good. The owner, Dan Dunn, was on every job making sure his guys did a good job and did much of the work himself. |
There is paving and then there is paving.
Proper way is to dig up driveway and add crushed stone and sand. If just paving over a dirt driveway. Could be issues later on. Rocks will work their way to surface over time. Causing bumps and cracks. |
Claremont
I used Claremont Paving out of Gilmanton, as did several others in the neighborhood. They are not going to be the lowest cost option but they did very good work. Dug out old driveway, removed boulders, but down quite a bit of ledge pack to prepare for the paving. Driveway now 5 years old and has held up very well.

I had great experience with Porter Paving. Top notch.

Mp?
You might want to check out the paving job done with the new Marine Patrol HQ. This is pervious as opposed to impervious paving, specifically graded and drained to prevent runoff into the lake, where the HQ sits at the bottom of a bowl. second, I notice many driveways are not designed for good snow storage, or plow operation, to minimize back-dragging. (My calculation is that it is cheaper to plow than it is to own and maintain a snowblower. Certainly easier and better use of my time.)

Not sure if you have found your person yet but I hired Bryant Paving this summer, I'm happy with their work. Had one other company quote the job they were 4,000 more, I'll not mention who they were. If your that interested who they were PM me I see no need to throw anyone else "under the bus" for all to read.
