Caterpillar identification

I've seen several of these in the past week or so. Never recall seeing this one before. Anyone know what it is?
I know enough not to touch it as hairy ones with spikes usually cause some type of reaction, and not a good one. |

Great pic. We’ve had probably a dozen or so that I’ve shoved away the past few weeks. They came up around an area with Peony’s with heavy leaf damage. I’m assuming they were nesting on the underside of the Peony leaves now that I’ve read more about their behavior.
