I recently found an old flyer for "The Long Island House" circa 1880-1900, by George Kittredge Brown 1822-1903.

I thought some may find it interesting. It was in a copy of my grandfather's book Farewell Old Mount Washington by Edward H. Blackstone

The room rates of $6 to $12 a week would be $193.20 to $387.89 today.
